Well hello there gingerbread man... I miss you January through November...
I wonder if people realize what Christmas is really about. The love and family and the Celebration of life. I hope during this holiday season people don't get caught up in politics or the must get gifts fever that seems to strike. My greatest fear is that the Holiday season ( Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) will come around and in all the black friday, presents, and resolutions that i will forget what the real reason of the season is. Love & Family. This is the time of year that people try to reach out to others, at least they used to. I hope the spirit of giving is not a forgotten spirit. I also hope that people take time to really enjoy eachother.

Holiday Cheer... Don't mind if i do.
Somthing about this time of year just makes me smile. Sadly it just doesn't seem to carry over to the rest of the year, but while it's here I am determined to enjoy every bit of it. This is the year the eldest of the cousins in my family is finally bringing home his girlfriend, we are so excited. Also my friend finally dumped jerk face ex-boyfriend and has this great guy!! He's so sweet, I've been able to have dinner with them both twice now and he is the sweetest thing and just as cute as he can be! Its so great to see her happy again. I believe that he is her Christmas Merical. My sister have been working on a business plan, and just the idea makes me so excited. Not to mention theres gingerbread stuff everywhere... and i LOVE gingerbread....all the pretty lights. The decorated trees. I just can't seem to get enough of the holidays. There are days this time of year when all i want to do is freeze time. The only thing better would be a sleigh ride in the snow... that would take the cake.
So Santa if your listening ... one white christmas with a sleigh ride please and thank you. :)

Firework
I think the best part of the Fourth of July, which i greatly missed this year while i was over seas, is going out to a field and in the pitch black of the summer evening a rocket shoots into the sky and ends in an explosion of color. As the colors explode in the sky for those few seconds it seems the whole world is holding its breath. I would compare this moment to those moments in life when you truely let go and just see what happens. It seems those are the moments when personality and character explode with colour. Unfortunately those moments seem to be few and far inbetween for people. I know that every day i have one of these moments. maybe not all day, but at least for a second in the day. It has nothing to do with being invincable, its just a matter of giving yourself a few mins. of your own time. Sometimes its easier said than done, but those few mins sometimes make the day worth your time. Maybe after you take those few mins you get a txt message that makes you smile and then BOOM there is your firework for the day. I hate that schools are having so much trouble with their youth. Even more i see more and more people my own age settlign for mediocrity. Not just for life in general but for themselves. Wasted talent. In no way am i fully innocent for wasting talent. I have piles of untapped talent that i only use when it suits me, and it makes me CRAZY that i sell myself short. So repeat after me, " I WILL NO LONGER SELL MYSELF SHORT, BECAUSE I'M WORTH IT" .
Oh look aren't the fireworks beautiful?
